Details

Working at Fidabona was the start of my web development journey. During my time there I worked on the Fidabona Cloud sites. This included the design and layout, content, and the customer journey.

The work covered how learners and customers move through the product — structuring pages, refining layouts, and shaping content so the experience felt clear and purposeful from first visit through to using the platform.

About Fidabona Cloud

Fidabona Cloud is a UK low-code agency helping small and mid-sized businesses automate processes, connect disconnected tools, and grow without enterprise-sized budgets. The public site positions services such as custom applications, integrations, websites and e-commerce, business reporting, digital marketing, hosting, and domain registration — with messaging aimed at owners who are tired of firefighting manual work and patchwork software.

What I contributed

I focused on the marketing and product-facing web experience: page structure, visual layout, and written content that explains what Fidabona offers and who it is for. That meant turning a broad service list into scannable sections — hero value proposition, problem/solution narratives, service pillars, and paths toward contact or deeper product areas (including learning-related offerings under the Fidabona umbrella).

Day to day, the work was iterative design in WordPress: adjusting templates and blocks, tightening typography and spacing, and aligning copy with how prospects actually search for help (automation, integrations, visibility, reporting). The goal was always the same — make the next step obvious, whether someone needs a website refresh, an integration, or a guided route into Fidabona’s platforms.

Highlights on the live site

Visitors today see a clear “low code simplicity, high impact results” story, service groupings for applications through hosting, and trust cues such as renewable-energy-powered hosting branding. Navigation also surfaces client utilities (project portal, learning, hosting login) so existing customers can jump straight to tools while new leads stay on the conversion path.

That split — prospect journey vs. logged-in customer — was a core part of how I thought about layout and content hierarchy on the Fidabona Cloud properties.
